Welcome to Hibbler Art

I like to introduce the viewer to a new and exciting way of seeing common elements, in most cases, florals. Few people can deny the natural beauty of a flower. Each petal is a work of art in and of itself. I enjoy manipulating my reference photos to inject movement and color that creates excitement. Achieving realism is not paramount to me. It sometimes gives way to achieving color clarity and contrast that attract the viewer’s eye and invites further contemplation. Capturing time’s ephemeral moments on paper is a unique gift that I strive to achieve.

Bio:

Now based in Brighton Michigan, Annette, a transplant from New Jersey, never totally abandoned her youthful infatuations with the artist’s brush, even to the rigors of raising a family. A study of watercolor basics at Somerset Art Association in NJ in the mid-1990s provided a gateway to the future indulgence of artistic inclinations which has brought her award-winning capabilities.
